Gratitude
Thanks for your wonderful post. It just affirms for me that the best way to help the world is to be grateful for what you have and love as best you can from your position.

With all the happenings going on Live For Today could not come at a better time. There are still more disaster to come we have to brace ourselves for it. The reality is history always repeats itself. I hope people who are feeling the pain of loosing everything will find healing soon. Material things are for the moment the human Spirit lives on. My heart goes out for these people who are suffering. I will be helping ease the pain in my own way. There are so many charities we can give to help these people. Hope is not yesterday it is now. Beyond a dark cloud there is a silver lining. Let us cheer these people on and lift there spirit...

i worked yesterday, in a depressed area of the city. the blacks were particularly hostile last night. i knew it was from what was going on in New Orleans. i had a bit of a grudge this morning, but soon realized that they are merely crying out for help. and for me to attack them would be innappropriate. thanks.

what we are doing here and now is really all there is. by remaining there, we can truly work miracles. thanks for the read.

there is so much negative energy associated with this event. when i saw the line of fire trucks and boats going into New Orleans today, tears came to my eyes. sadly enough, there will be those who say we didn't respond fast enough, or that we purposely neglected these people.

Positive words, very well spoken
Thank you so much for pointing out the POSITIVE things we can be doing right now.  While so many are dwelling on the negative, it's great to see some positive input for a change.
