Wonderful News!!!
Not only is Eddie alive and well but he also sent me a voicemail message from his nephew's place where he's staying!
Thanks for your prayers!
Hugs!

Thanks for caring
Other places need help too - I'm glad you're focusing on them.

Our uniformed forces and their families.
Columbus, Keesler, Barksdale AFB's and other military facilities were not spared the storm's fury. Wish them godspeed to recover and play their part in funneling help and succor to the hardest hit areas.

Please pray for this...
...real teddy bear of a Southern Gentleman and his family.
He's right up around 80 years old now but very young for his age, so he's the type of person who could easily make it to 100.
Now that his mom has passed on, it's just him and a dog who recently adopted him, though I know that he also has at least one sister around somewhere.
When people get to be that age, you know that they could be leaving you at any time, but I would rather think of Eddie passing on peacefully in his sleep many years from now.
Anyway, in short, I'd like to make a prayer request here for Eddie Alley and his family to have gone somewhere else and that they are safe--which would also be a prayer answered in the affirmative should they have stayed and not survived.
But I'm selfish enough to want him to remain on this side of life for many more years--and certainly not die like this (or, worse, end up all battered at his age).
There are so many good people down that way--people I don't even know, but somebody does, and they mean a lot to those somebodies they know.
Hopefully, some good things will come of this. This is what I pray for!
Hugs!
