Great idea for the kids.
My sons are working with journals for dealing with the death of their dad, and it does come in handy for them when they can't find the words. I'll have to be sure to put their collage with them and their father in something more safe. They ended up with so little to remember him, that I'm always paranoid that THEIR picture will get ruined. Thank God for technology, it's been scanned and stored.
Always a great idea to have the kids give, participate. Although we have an allowance system in place, they put 25% towards charity. They also recycle and have the same idea in place. Awesome practice.
