I'm never messing with him again. I'll let nature take its course.

MsVision,
he's feeling better today, but is still not mobile. I don't think he's walked 20 steps today. We are being patient with him. It's a good thing that school doesn't start for another week.

Ginnie, he's still lying down, hasn't moved an inch all morning,
but his spirits are better than yesterday.

I hope that your son is feeling better soon. Children seem to have a very big capacity to remember anything negative about going to the toilet. Its very liberating for parents when they finally make it out of nappies but they still of drag their feet and need a little extra encouragement sometimes.

It's not just little boys who turn helpless with illness, the syndrome continues into manhood!

Ginnie, maybe another day or so and he
should be okay. This kid is a strange one, he has a long memory and will cherish this forever.

He apparently remembers the last time and how it hurt when he had to urinate. He hadn't peed when I got back here. He hadn't peed
all day. I hate to be cruel, but I gave him apple juice and water so he would. It hurt, and I held him while he cried. Better that, than a bladder infection.

Poor little guy...
...I remember when that happened to my son...he was about 6 months old and he cried and shook when he peed...made me almost cry! I hate to see kids in pain. :( Hope the discomfort doesn't last too long!

I sympathise with you ; having had four kids myself!
Perhaps you'd like to go to my blog and read a post called " The Silent Healer". I'm sure it would help you.
There is no financial reward in this for me ; I offer the advice as a friend, in hopes that it might help you. And avoid you having to pay such outrageous medical fees.

Quirky, I know it does.
because basically the skin is stretched to tearing point. My son, though, seems to know how to make the best of any injury - large or small.
Gosh, I hope I'm not here when that first bit of urine comes trickling down. Catch you later!

Ohh poor child...
I'm a wimp with kids at the doctor's office. Yes, they do regress and so do grown men, in my experience. ;) Hope he feels better real soon. You take care too Word.
