I know it's not fun, but it's such a cute visual! :)

Petie was always being threatened with military school, and still I have to wonder what the hell he's thinking.  They are so funny and odd sometimes, but I guess it's part of why we love them so much!  I hope the paint doesn't make the puppy sick.

I had to come tell you something because I don't remember if I said it to you already.....I had a date last night....with a guy who lives HERE.  Are you shocked?  :)  True, he's only here 2 more years (damn Navy men, I can't escape them -- he's a pilot, which is sexy even if I want to pretend it's not), then back to Seattle.  But, who knows what's going to happen.  It was brilliant!  He does all this stuff I want to do but haven't in a while, and I asked the universe to bring me someone to shake stuff up for me.  Then, here he came.  We are supposed to go out again, but even if we don't, I was so anxious and all that, but I went, let him plan everything, totally out of my element, and had a great date.  He was talking about taking me camping in the desert in October when it cools off.  Last night we had Ethiopian food, went to a wine bar, and when I expressed a real liking to the port we got he offered to bring me a bottle (it's like a $40 bottle).  I had offered to get the chocolates for him because they happen to be my favorite (I'm sure you know they serve chocolate with port often).  Even if I never hear from him, I'm glad I overcame my fear of the unknown and my anxiety of people (new people) and just went for it.  Are you proud of me?

p.s.  he's a really good kisser....I don't think J will read you and I won't post that, but I wanted to tell you, kissing is so fun.   Loving you madly and muchly!  Sorry I haven't been around, trying to get my "real world" life together.

HolyGrail, holy maternal salvation. I would have killed my four babies

the day that they painted my Mom's Brasilian rosewood furniture, IF they hadn't been so cute and IF my girlfriend hadn't come by with her kids to distract me, while we cleaned off the red, white and blue paint.

They say that God gives these critters huge eyes for just such reasons. I'm sure it's true as it worked on me, often....thanks for reading.

I'm convinced that puppies, kittens and babies are as cute as they are so we don't kill them!!
