Mihail, they come to his desk upon sheets of paper, as numbers gathered
by readers and assistants, who peruse the day's history and condense it all into, maybe, five sheets of paper each morning. I believe that his reading limit must be about five pages daily, unless it's a speech that he has to deliver.
I think that the numbers of the dead just serve to piss him off, reminding him that he has no real hold on, no firm grasp on the eyes (can anyone grasp the eyes of a society? This is why I will never be published.) and ears and minds of this raucous society named Iraqis, as he thinks that he has on those of the U.S. citizens, here at home.
So, you have noticed his balls growing, too, making him walk in funnier and stranger ways each year!!??!! Me, too. Does that 'knees kicking out to the sides' cowboy walk now, which to me means bigger cojones inside tight skivvies.
