Sleep deprivation, too...identical symptoms.

Ask your M.D. to write your boss a heartfelt letter if that is needed, but unless the boss wants to lose a really valuable employee (and lose the chance to win her admiration even more than before..) then he needs to let you get it together.

I too recently had a mild concussion. I did a lot of research on the topic and was surprised by how much damage a head injury can do. One night after work I caught the train home and completely forgot to change trains when I needed to. I was also a lot slower at processing everything. Fortunately this has passed as my injury was very mild. Did you know that a lot of the cases where people have been convicted of causign death by shaking babies have now been overturned as this damage can be done just by not supporting their little heads properly.

Hope that you are feling better soon. The best thing is that its a relief to learn that its not a permanent condition and things should pick up again for you soon!!!!
