- Go to OMG!! Do you have ANY IDEA where that dollar bill has been lately?
Many wind up on the nasty floor at the bar I work in.
So always wash your hands.

Very interesting Quirky
I've heard that if people knew how much drug residue is on money, they'd be laundering it before touching with bare hands. No pun intended...I don't think, lol.

A few weeks ago we went out one day and took some books which we had duplicates. My partner had registered them with Book Crossing. We left one in a tree and one in a phone booth. The one in a tree has traveled 1500 miles. The other we don't know about. My son left a book on a library shelf but it must still be there.

isn't it strange that money holds up in the washing machine?
as for the tracking... I'm not sure I want to know where a dollar has been. Most probably have attended a strip club or two. yuck!

Oddball
I LOVE wheresgeorge.com. I have 27 bills entered on my account, and the farthest travelling one has gone a whole 260 something miles. Not as impressive as the top bills, but still pretty fun =D. Not a single bill leaves my possession without wheresgeorge.com written on it.

Quirky...
I registered a few bills, 6 I think about 3 years ago. So far one has turned up. It had only made it about 100 miles in a year. They calculate the bills speed and everything, it's pretty cool.

As I was reading your first para, it put me in mind of exactly what you mention in the second. I love that book idea. I might try the money thing over here with a fiver.

As a matter of fact, I do think about that...and it's not a pretty thought.

I might have to do like Mr. Monk and wash and iron my bills.
