Nice perspective Poet
 I am keeping up so far with the ridiculous prices, but I know of many who are not. Walking 15-20 miles to work and back may loom for some around here; that or cutting back on food, (prices rising on it too, thanks to higher delivery and production costs) for poor working folks, times really are bad. Sorry to be a downer and I do appreciate your uplifting post. Just praying the misery doesn't get too bad for those who are vunerable.

Damon, well computed. a) I never look at the price b) I don't know the exchange rate. But I do know we pay more because of the huge tax. Doesn't stop us using them though. Oh, for an integrated public transport system.

JPB, it's important what you say, though: to hold back from our daily gripes and count our lucky stars.

You're Right...
...about all things being relative.

We pay just under $8.00 a gallon. At least you now know where your prices are headed!
