Hunger (out of desperation) probably...

People must never forget that these are wild animals ... as much as I love my "children" (and they undoubtedly love me) I've nevertheless had a few close calls.  And, they would surely eat me if they could ... but, I don't hold it against them.

It's the nature of the beasts.

Madame_P.O
This review was absolutely wonderful, one of your finest pieces of work I've seen to date!

I'll probably end of searching for this documentary at the video store. I hope I can find it. Though stupid people and those who are over naive generally get on my nerves, I am intrigued with this story.

Thank you very much for sharing the review!

Thank you. I like it, too.
Hopefully, people will check out the movie if/when it opens near them.

Hi

I reported on the death of Tim Treadwell when he was killed. That was a shame. The fact that it was caught on tape (audio) is just way too ironic..Talk to ya...ALexa

I tend to prefer small pets, too.
Though, mine are venomous plus not quite as cuddly as rabbits. (SEE post entitled "Pet Cemetery")

Thanks, A & B. Hopefully, it will inspire some people...
to go see the movie. May take some searching, however. Since it's not the type of film that plays everywhere.

That's not how my mother,
who can supposedly "relate" to Treadwell's "understanding" of animals, feels. She sees it as merely a "freak occurence", no different than being murdered by a human serial killer.

I read the story about the Grizzly Man it's rather bad karma or
irony how it ended up. Live by the sword die by the sword, fits so well here. ~Silly

So nice of you to say...
though, it must be noted that, I did do this for a living (very briefly). Which reminds me ...

It's the best film of 2005 (thus far) ...
next, in order, are "Me And You And Everyone We Know", "Batman Begins", "Sin City", "Broken Flowers" and "Melinda and Melinda".

I followed that story...

When it happened...VERY fascinating.  I'd love to see that film, now.  They do say, you know, that "those who live by the sword, DIE by the sword."  Very true in this case!!!

Well Writing, Madame!!!

MY MOTHER: I must say, this is well written.

ME: Well, I'm a well writer.
