When did I defend Clinton? All I said is the whole Moncia thing was blown out of proportion. I was using that as an example of the hypercritical mindset that I see conservatives backing up right now.

Or were you a unique conservative and said nothing bad about Clinton? After all Clinton won by a landslide, and truly got a majority of votes, meaning most of the country was backing him. By your own logic that means one should say nothing bad about he person or how he runs the country.

The economy is not strong. Get off the drugs. We are hurting and it is only getting worse. Unemployment here in Colorado was at less the two percent eight years ago and is right now over double that. Unemployment has not gotten back up to the great levels it was at before Bush. Bush has helped Big business do better, but the average guy on the street is getting screwed beyond belief. A depression does not happen because the rich are doing fine. It happens because the middle and lower class are unable to get by. You can not judge the strength of economy on how well the rich are doing. Those private home owners are all rich people, who have bought many house sand are renting them out. I have seen more homes for rent than ever before, and it is because the wealthy could afford to go out and buy up house with the lower interest rates.

"tort reform,"

And yet health care is not going down and most likely will just go up higher anyway. It really is not going to change anything.

"an energy bill have passed in his second term,"

Great, but from what I have seen it is not really going to make a difference at all. It does not fix the problems. Although it does help some big businesses get richer, big surprise there.

Are you really on enough drugs to think those are going to change a thing?

"socieal security reform is being addressed, tax reform is being addressed"

Wow, Clinton addressed those as well, but just was not able to do anything, just as Bush will not be able to do anything. Every President addresses those.

"Bush meets with his cabinet almost daily. In comparison, Clinton didn't meet with his full cabinet for almost eighteen months"

Yeah, but Clinton didn't start a war for personal reasons and then need to figure out how to cover his ass with whatever BS he could come up with. So of course Bush has got to be having those meetings. He has to figure out how to make him self look good after he lied to the country and has done nothing to help the country out. When you screw up as bad he has you have to meet with people for advise, not that he ever follows the smart advise or we never would have gone into Iraq.

How the hell does Bush meet with anyone when he is on vacation half the time?

I never really cared for Clinton, but I never saw he screw the country up on the level Bush has done. Besides, Clinton has come and gone. Bush is the one making the mistakes right now, and he is becoming a king of making mistakes. I truly doubt any president in the future will ever be able to screw up as much as Bush has.

You can say anything you want about the current administration. That you would add a defense of former President Clinton says more about your independent stance than your criticizm of Bush. That you would ignore the strength of the economy, in spite of high energy prices, the unemployment percentage is at five percent, four in Alabama, the stock market is strong, again in spite of high energy prices, there are more privat home owners than at any time in this countries history, tort reform, an energy bill have passed in his second term, socieal security reform is being addressed, tax reform is being addressed, Bush meets with his cabinet almost daily. In comparison, Clinton didn't meet with his full cabinet for almost eighteen months, Clinton didn't personally meet with the directors of the CIA, FBI, NSA, and promised the troops would be home from Serbia by Christmas, almost twelve years ago, and they are still there. Where is your criticizm of Clinton's mistakes, mismanagment, of the economy? Remember the techno bubble?
