Okay, talked to Riel....I'm just a stupid woman who thinks too much. We talked and things are normal.....and he really is sick...I suppose I have an overactive imagination!!!! But can you blame me with all the things men put us through!=P

Well I didn't actually talk to him in person...so I don't really know if he's telling the truth or not. I like to think the best about people...but the truth is we are all fallable.

But a month???...My non-sexual relationships lasted way longer than that. I guess it is time to impose the whole "wait three to six months before having sex" rule....lol...

Wow.

I hope you guys don't break up, but I gotta be honest, emailing and telling you he's gonna be sick for the whole weekend in an email sounds fishy to me.

Yeah, breaking up with someone you are in love with and you lost your virginity to would suck--mine was that intense puppy love and even now 11 year later it still stings a bit when I think of him.  Riel sounds like a nice guy, and you'll always remember him so at least you picked someone who was sweet to you no matter how long it lasts, you know?

Regret?  Nah, it's not like you gave it up to the first guy who was interested so you should be satisfied.  You've learned a lot about yourself and you've eased up a bit about the whole sex/marriage thing because of it, so it was worth it.  Sometimes the payoffs aren't what we expect, they are even sweeter.

Boston, huh?  I've always wanted to go to Boston.  Maybe someday I'll have to come visit you!

Yeah, sex never really changes a relationship, at least not for the better. It can be an expansion of an already good relationship, but it is so (in most cases) emotionally involving for the individual that it can at time cause serious problems. I suppose it depends on how seriously each person involved takes the act of sex. Tricky stuff it is.

But hey, no regrets. You’ve freed yourself from the fears and restrictions that your virginity held on you. Time for life to go on =)
