Ummm.......I gotta tell ya something.......chewing them to be evil and get back at them.......don't think they know stuff like that.

Yes, Timmy, I chewed. I ate them for punishment.
I'm evil that way, ya know. Oh, and yes, I brushed and flossed that night before bed, but I always do regardless. Had nuthin' to do with eating the gnats.

JJ, I'm not sure how many bugs I've eaten to date, but I can't keep count.

Oh, and yeah, about your last comment, I haven't decided for sure yet, but I'm not as active lately here. Obviously. I do need to catch up on my reading, though. I have been limited in time these days.

So...Spiffy,

How many bugs does that add up to that you've eaten now?  Is that considered a health food?

Arizona has a gnat season.    Gnat?  Knat? Nat? Pnat?    I take an old T-shirt, tie off the sleeves, cut eye holes in the front, duct tape gnat gnet over the peeper holes, put it on over a hat that goes only part way through the neck, put a piece of elastic around at the neck, make sure my entire, en la onda, bug nouveau, outfit is appropriately tied and taped, and walk courageously out the door.  I'll send you a pic of that sometime.  One Bad-Ass Battle Outfit.

Does it seem to be an extra bad bug year there, or is it just around my house?  There are bugs like I've never seen (and some that can't be seen) around here.  I'm about to mix up some napalm and do the yard with the Ortho Sprayer with a Home Boy Flame Thrower Mod.  I'm sick o' this shit.
. . . . . . . .     JJ    (Me gusta que ya no piensas en abandonarnos.  Mi corazón no lo puede.)

Isn't THAT the truth!!! (though I never can say I've swallowed one!) A whole bunch of wasted wings, if you ask me! Fun post, Spitfire! Thanks for the laugh.

Strat, doesn't get any better than that, does it?

What I love the most is when the little bastards hover right in front of your eyeball. What the hell is that all about?

Ah, Puke......
I can't stand those damn things. Only I somehow get 'em up my nose. I don't know what's worse, standing inthe driveway flapping your arms, or trying to ride a mountain bike holding it with one hand while the other is rammed to the fourth knuckle in your beexer, trying to strip mine for gnats.

That's what I like about the south...

Oh, Symph! It's not that bad.
Extra protein for me, is all.

Well, Rach, that's how God intended it to be.
Surpises such as those are what keep Him entertained. You didn't know that?

Mysteria, my sweet,
Yep, it was a sad time for that knat-swarm, I'm sure, however, the only thing I could've possibly taken away from the universe's balance was FOOD for bats. For that, I am truly ashamed.

HolyG, they really don't taste THAT bad, really.

Kinda like, um, just little crunchie things. You really can't actually "taste" them. Some are crunchie and some ya never really recognize are even among the heard, really. Probably, just a gain of added protein in your diet that you never even intended to gain. So, the whole experience is all positive. (Except for the victimes of the knat swarm, of course.)

I hate those things!  You always run into those balls of gnats when you least expect it, too!

Spitfire
Ew! I hate that.  The other day I went for a walk and I put lip gloss on before I left(don't ask) Well they were all flying into me and getting stuck on my lips.  That was a challenge.
