In all creative areas we should work with our mistakes. I think it would be fun to draw an analogy between cooking and writing. Imagine one piece as a wholesome soup rich with good ingredients to nourish the mind. Then you could have a baked muffin - indulgent, or exotic fruit concoctions with sultry overtones - so yes it works for me ;-)
