and you're right about Jesus
dark haired, curly haired, dark-skinned
some of the early paintings on the catacomb walls under Rome depict a young, beardless, dark-skinned, curly headed Jesus.
of course his original name was a Jewish name: Yeshua.
but we don't want to be Jewish now, do we?
