it's undeniable that we make up our minds what we wish to see, and then experience it. have you heard of 'stigmata'? i think it's interesting that the wounds that appear are in exactly the places the person believes them to be. belief is a powerful thing. thank you for a stimulating comment. have a great day.

I think our attitude has a lot to do with reality too.  We can either complain and moan that life isn't fair or make the best of it.  I'm reminded of an experiement I heard about once.  The scientists conducting this experiement had their volunteer sit in a chair blindfolded.  They then told him that they were going to touch his arm with a hot coal.  In reality they touched an ice cube to the volunteers arm.  The interesting part is that the volunteer had burn marks on his arm.  He had convinced himself that he was being burned.  I firmly believe people can create their own illusions.

You are the source and the experience
How true! Thank you for that. And thank you for the reply to the clairsentient question. I, too, have felt it to the point of being immesurable. It's nice to know there are others out there who feel deeply.

*The decision is not how to react to events, but what will you create in spite of them?*

this is well said

you know in the Hebrew language, what we speak out is defined a "davar", a thing, which means that we are able to create by our words...but the first step is to think the right way...

Excellent post:)

it's funny that you said that. when i worked at another ems service near here, the manager put sticker cartoon characters in place of our names on the schedules. you know who i was? that martian from bugs bunny. you know, 'the q-36 space modulatoor.' i thought that was funny.

with my kids, it's usually go, go, go, and then rest and recover and pray. then go, go, go, go, again. i'm doing a lot better than i was earlier.

Yes, if you can stop yourself long enough to "turn it around," it works
beautifully.

thanks. i had a bit of unrest earlier, and i turned it around merely by thinking. i know this is true. it has worked for me many times.
