jacenta,
Thanks for reading. You bet it is alarming! There is far too much of "Big Brother" invading our privacy.

Katray,
I don't remember now where I got that information regarding national drivers licenses but it was on the internet. Yes, there is terrorism of all kinds all over the world but I believe it is fostered by the money powers (the few million and billionairs, those in high offices, and those with too much power already). There are signs everywhere telling us we are heading in the direction the above have been pointing us and that is one world government and one world religion. Here in the U.S. we have the startings of national drivers licenses and in Europe, the euros, and even in the Vatican and the rest of the world religions promoting ecumenism.

Yes it is odd and scary Rame

and so obvious we are not secure from further terrorism. Wonder why...

Have you heard about the lessening of airport security recently regarding what can be brought on the plane? And the terrorist threat level dropped for subways and trains in the last week or so. So apparently the terrorist danger must be disappearing, yet we are supposed to accept government intrusions and loss of liberty...Definite BS!! That is really scary about national driver's licenses. I hadn't heard that, but as you say, what can we do?

Good post.

Metta,

Thanks for reading and for your comment.  The government is seizing all the power they can over all of us every day and it is in the name of fighting terrorism.  I could go on for days writing what I think about all of that but why go to the aggravation?  They are going to do what they're going to do no matter what.
