i feel the same now. choosing to stand up and say no will defuse anger immediately, because it is the responsible way to handle oneself. choosing to attack is irresponsible, for it only increases anger.

I always remind myself that it's pointless to strike back. We must look at every situation and decide what we want to achieve. I am lucky because I rarely seem to feel great anger - on the other hand sometimes I should take action

it's still a temptation for me to strike back, but the more i withhold the urge, the better i'm becoming at choosing again.

How can another continue to attack what is not there? This is exactly what I believe and this approach helps to defuse situations that people construct.

This is a wonderful post and also very true.. " Human Existence cannot be sustained without love. If we fail to implement it consistantly, each of us, in our own way, will share the responsibility for the demise of the human race and the environment."   J. Kevin Abraham

rejoice at your mistakes!
how else would you know what works? mistakes are not deserving of condemnation, but we have not seen the value in making them. i hope you have a blessed weekend, isa.

I feel blessed to have you here on Blogit to be able to read your words of wisdom. It is so hard to continue to give love when one is being attacked, but oh, so necessary.

the miracle is the seeing of the false, and discontinuing the investment in it. what freedom lies in the choice to be utterly free! not one sacrifice made here leads to freedom-only bondage.
