Devoted, zarrothepaun, may not be the word I'd use to describe me, but I do
agree with your Santa Claus comparison.

God can't loose
You sound like a very dovoted person. I've often thought about the things your talking about then one day it occured to me. God is in a win/win position. If we get what we want He gets the credit, if we don't get it, then He's testing us. Maybe God is something akin to Santa Clause but we as a culture have just gone on believing it? Something to think about. zarrothepaun beta

Yeah, Pat_B, it's number 11: Thou shalt not
waste the lord thy god's time with a bunch of petty crap.

Considering that the Supreme Court
judges are appointed for life, this sounded to me like the Rev. was praying for their deaths. This seems to be a very clear statement, politically partisan, self-serving, public, and most importantly, immoral. Isn't there a commandment against such things?

Yeah, Metta, Robertson, Falwell, and Roberts all kill me with prayers
for this and that.  It's just a mad, mad, mad, mad world, after all.

very cute...

I saw him praying for the first vacancies...  it surprised me - not many people are aware that someone is praying for them to quit their jobs!  it's a weird world...
