My grandson loves spongebob. I am discombobulated by a whole civilization
of sorts that lives under water. Toooo strange for Gangan.

I know exactly how you feel about tourists, because we live in Spain ; fortunately a good few miles away form the costas, where tourists abound.
At least, the people you refer to the rednecks, are your own people, but down ont he costas along the Mediterranean coast, its like the tower of Bable in summer.
Whis is okay I suppose - well for me anyway, 'cos I avoid those places unless I have to go there. But so many foreigners on vacation here congregate in their own places, don't speak to the Spanish if they can help it, and only talk to each other int heir own language. Very insulting to the Spanish.

Feel lucky you've never seen Spongebob. Even though I said I wouldn't let them watch it today, here I am, blogging while they watch yet another rerun of Spongebob. Somebody grab a pin and we'll go after Bubble Buddy.

Never seen spongebob, not even once.
