Lonely Shmonely

Feel sadness, yes. Please do! How can you appreciate the peaks without the valleys. Flatland is not enough. A flatline is death. Give me the ups and downs, the peaks and valleys, the crests and troughs. Then you can appreciate truly what you have, that everyone else envies.

But, never feel lonely. You're never alone, and a friend is just a phone call or email or a short visit away.

It made me sad just to read it.

That is a testament to how powerfully  you write and evoke emotions from readers.
