Essential conditions
If you burn down the house you are trying to save why make the effort. I am not decrying decisive action but it should be based on facts. I don't expect Bush or Blair to tell the complete truth but so far their batting record is pretty bad. Remember no one is refuting that Saddam deserved to get kicked to the curb, or that Osama and company are deserving of a bullet. But when you follow the my way or the highway don't be surprised when all you hear is the sound of jackboots at 3am.
