Haha...my mom said that to me once too...and she knows I'm not even having sex...when I questioned her on it she said, I can hope, can't I? Hahahaha

Crazy huh? I read your writing and think the same thing. It's like you're the me with the husband and children and I am you if you were single....crazy universal parallels. We should meet for real! LOL!

That's exactly what I would have done.

I hate the way they crunch when you step on them...and then when you look down, their guts are hanging out but they're still moving...why? Please somebody tell me why they exist! LOL!

Your mom sounds like mine, except my mom skips to the part where every time I mention I'm not feeling well, she immediatley jumps to "I know what it is"

OMG!

We so have to meet to hang out some day.  The way you write is EXACTLY like I talk and sometimes I feel like I am reading my own writing when I read you!  LOL

Get a fly swatter--they work good on the roaches so then you can stomp 'em!

i had a similar encounter with a lizard in my bathtub the other night. It just wouldn't get out, and I didn't know how to shower without disturbing it. I ended up in my parent's shower, and left it to lounge in mine.

So your mom wants to see you married.
I can only imagine the pressure. Good luck with that-lol! We have these roaches here that I swear- I swear- are like 2-1/2 inches long and when they fly it sounds like helicopter.  Not quite that loud, but that whoosh-whoosh-whoosh is pretty darn distracting. Especially if you're trying to eat at a run down waffle house, and it's dangling from the ceiling. Yep, gross.  Take care and I'm glad you're doing okay- relatively speaking.

Mia,

LOL...I think that cockroach is trying to tell your sanity something.

Or maybe it wishes you had gone to Texas so it could have stowed along to visit its bigger cousins...

Is "stowed" a word?

Now see, you're more fun to read then I!
I must laugh in return, hahahahaha I really liked trying to run down the fire escape to catch your sanity after tossing it out the window, very interesting. LOL

That's quite a blog Mia!!
LOL...loved the read!  I was smiling all the way through!  Sounds like a very complicated but nice weekend!!  I love the image of chucking your sanity out the window...going for the catch!!  Now..for the cockroach...all I can say is ugh!  I've never seen one and don't particularly feel I've missed much!  Great to hear about your weekend...glad it all worked out for you!
