Nothing got done this weekend by way of writing. I was just dead tired at the end of each day. I have no doubt though that some of the incidents over the three days will make for some interesting stories. 
I hope you will all get some productive writing in this coming week.

I agree with you, Smith
Have you noticed when you "force" yourself to write. . , when you're really not "in the mood to write". . , this is reflected with your output?? Often when you "force it" the words you produce appear uninspired and dull.

it really is hard to have the discipline to write every day. This blog has helped me, but it's still very new. enjoy your golf weekend and write in fits, writing can't precede life.

Life used to get in the way of my writing as well.
So, now, I carry a tiny tape recorder with me (in my purse) everywhere I go. Just in case I come up with a good idea or a clever line or something. I keep one on my nightstand, too, in the event inspiration hits me in my sleep. So much easier to simply repeat a concept or a phrase out loud, than to have to jot it down.

Geez, that all sounds so familiar. I really need to crack down on submitting articles too...I really, really do...maybe this writers blog I just started will help...maybe...it's so hard to conjure up enough concentration to write articles w/ the kids home for summer though...BIG SIGH...at least i know I'm not alone...and now you do too !!!
