- Go to NASA Changed Foam Tiles to Make Shuttle More Environmentally Friendly
justsouno, people like E.D. look flighty and distraught half the time becau
se they have eye trouble, but they are the real geniuses. Emily Dickensen was another one.

Kingmi I saw E.D. she asked the person from NASA point blank and he
jumped all around that. But she was doggedly searching facts. I appreciate that sort of reporting. News should be about facts not about what I want to look, sound or feel good. Thanks for these wonderful photos. Did you see the live walks this morning?

Living Just Two Hours South Of...
Cocoa Beach, I was tempted to drive up for this latest launch but couldn't because of an appointment I had that day.
I have to say, if you've never witnessed a Shuttle Launch in person then put it on one of your things to do in life before you die. The launch is just ground-shaking, hearth-throbbing, mind-boggling awesome. It will bring a tear to your eye and a lift to your spirit that you've never felt before...even from five miles away!
Early dawn (rare) or twilight launches are best! The sky just lights up with incredible power!

Did you see her roll over today in space? They were taking a look at her underbelly. It was awesome. I sure hope they are able to get down safely. Good pictures !
