Hemlocker,
I'll consider it, but I really just think my puppy is just weird. Doesn't really fathom me, cause all my animals seems to be weird. Really weird.

I doubt there are dead people in your walls, but there may be something else in there. Maybe you should get it checked out. Hemlocker

Factor,
Well, either that or she is just really weird. How do I keep winding up with such weird dogs?

While that thought did occour to me also,
I thought it more likely that the pup is smelling faint squirrel smells from when Stan was around...and trying to find that pesky squirrel since she can't see him anywhere!

Factor,

God I hope it's not my Stan the Flyin' Man! But I'm resting easy cause he disappeared outside. I hope it's not him! Lindsey actually scratches all over the house and I don't think Stan could move through the walls like that. Geez, I sure hope not!

Whacky,
Actually, dogs will scratch at the carpet and even walk in circles before lying down. It's an instinctive den behavior. Now, scratching at the walls and coffe table, I dunno!!

I agree with Whacky's assessment of varmints...
actually I wondered about him looking for one particular varmint who went missing a while ago...maybe he smells (old) squirrel but doesn't see one?  But hey, I don't know anything about animals...

She is cute...
Maybe you have some kind of varmits in the walls/floors. I don't know my dog skratches at the carpet some nights. I don't know what he is after.

Spitfire

My she's getting big...what are you feeding her....lol...

Maybe there are critters beneath the floor? Or insects only dogs can see.

Or ghosts....lol...aliens

Spiff,
If she grows into those ears, I think she'll be about 285.  Keep a close eye on her if any Big Ocean Breezes come into town.  She could blow into Santa's slave labor camp at the North Pole.  JJ
