You're absolutely right that writers should post adult-only content in Mature Audiences, especially since not everyone reading Blogit is an adult. We certainly had been hoping that people would use Romance & Sex to write about relationships for general audiences, as planned.

However, over a long period of time, as we evaluated feedback from many different writers who had inappropriately posted adult-only content in Romance & Sex, we noticed a recurring theme. They found the name confusing, since it sounded to them like it was intended for adult-only content.

Hence, the name change to Relationships. It shouldn't stop people from writing about sex, since it's certainly appropriate to write about it in a Relationships category, but we do hope it'll make it easier to keep the audience in mind.

I hope that makes our thinking behind this a little clearer. We're still evaluating feedback on this issue, so we appreciate you leaving us yours, and we welcome everyone else's as well under the News post where we had explained/announced the name change. (And if anyone has the perfect name for this category, please suggest it.)

Thank you.

Who ever

I think it sucks. Moving sex out of our options based on one man's interpretation is just bull. If things were that steamy for him, perhapes he should not click. I think it was mistake. The hard stuff goes into MA, so why were we not given a vote on this non issue? Are we not adults here? Sally
