I seem to have the same problem here
No humingbird feeders, the honey suckle and flower garden take care of the occasional humingbirds. However the dove, quail and other birds no longer look at my feeding them as an act of kindness on my part, but have begun to demand it. They will sit on the deck, in the mesquites and along the wires and fences, looking into the house questioning when I'm going to get around to throwing out the seed. It's really worth it though, and nice to feel needed huh.

I wish there were hummingbirds here! I did see one, once! Didn't know those facts!
