I hope you will continue to read.  I tend to write more when I am sad or struggling, but not always.  That seems to be an artist thing in general, perhaps why we are always difficult. ;)

I often feel my words come from somewhere else, the universe, somewhere inspired.  I was away from the ocean for years, too long...can't ever do it again.  Like leaving my soul behind.  Thank you for reading and leaving a footprint.

The ocean's quiet strength fills me....it seems to be a place for me to recharge.  Glad it showed through.  I appreciate the read and the comment, thank you.

I've always said the ocean is my church....I just close my eyes and I can smell the air and hear the waves.  Or, hop in my car and be there in 5 minutes....but it always brings me to center.

Yes, I know that feeling well...
I write a lot of these myself: poems that really the sea seems to be writing through me. I always get this aching feeling to return when I've been away too long, and every time I do I always leave with a song, filled with very much the same kind of sway and salt as yours :) -M

different.  Vibrant-the ocean's energy and quiet strength fills your poem.

The ocean, the beach, the sand - all definitely places of renewal.

Hey Temple, like that comment invite ;)
The poem flows gentle and reaching as the sea herself.
