Re: Interesting Encounter. "My experience as a subject of an Online Dating interactive study." While probably described by females I've dated or am friends with as nice looking, neither a lady killer or a guy who tries to tag along with his little sister and her friends at the mall, I entered the online dating scene with the hypothesis of: Women involved in online dating are actually serious about wanting to meet somebody. This study was conducted over a three month period involving photo exchange, internet chat, phone conversations, and some actual "in person" meeting. I am college educated, post graduate degreed, self employed, non felonious, high standard of living, healthy, and most of the ones I did meet wanted and/or went on more than one date. The results of my study, and why I am writing this is, like your interaction, the majority of females (and males) can easily put on a personna online that would never be attempted in real "face to face" life. They are demanding, think they should be pursued, set terms other than understandable things like safety, and they are always looking for a better deal. The other phenomena I've observed, and a woman I met online gave this analogy, is it is much like an 8th grade dance where all the boys are at one side of the room and the girls are at the other. Each wants to meet the other but is desperately afraid when the opportunity is present. The female you saw out biking did not have her PC or assortmants handy.
