TigerPrincess,

Keep your freelancing on the front burner. Do it alongside that next job, when you find it so that you'll have a second source of income - no matter how small. Never you worry about the weasel, what goes around definitely comes right back around.

To Everyone Who Has Responded So Far
Thank you so much for your support. This has been really hard for me, and it's helped me more than I can say to know that my online family here at Blogit is on my side.!!!!!

J, King

It's kind of funny you would say that becuase the song that's been running through my head almost all day today is Garth Brook's "Unanswered Prayers"

Malcom

That is the first time I've ever really thought of it that way. Thanks!

Hola!

So many thoughtful comments!  This situation just means that a better opportunity is coming!  Don't lose your faith.  Prayers unanswered might not be that.  Sometimes things just happen and they may feel sucky, but they just haven't been completed yet.  Hang in there, and you'll be in my prayers.

Go Easy,
J. King

I was going to quote that tired old "when one door shuts" thingy...but Malcolm put a much more clever spin on it, so now I'll just say:

When one door opens
you can walk through it and go wherever you want to go; simultaneously a window slams shut on the fingers of someone who tried to imprison you in the name of corporate greed. Go girl

Straitforward
Thanks for the reminder. What I need to remember too is now I have more experience to put on my resume.

I've had that happen to me, once. And yeah, it's a pretty shabby trick on his part. But you are a clever girl and you'll find something else soon.

Can quite understand that situation. But when winter comes,
can spring be far behind?
