Thanx Avant-garde
I have that here in my office.
Joyce bought it for me.
John: "The Lord make His face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee."
Hers was;
" Joyce, Joyful One But let all those that out their trust in thee rejoice......let them also that love thy nature be joyful in thee."
I used to be so joyful, but of course since her death I have not been so.
Thanx for posting my friend

it says that jeremiah wrote the book of lamentation in the bible; and, that Jerhme-el is one of the archangels in hebrew and christian legend.

hi avant
a man out west a year ago, in a commune had an old hebrew book which had meanings for names. That book read "will rise" and "appointed". thats similar, I wonder who appointed the meanings,or if given after the name.
thank you

you're right. pamela means 'all-honey' or 'honeyed.' that's interesting, considering your poetry.

- oh, I like that.... I had read that Margaret meant "pearl" - which meant nothing to me when I was younger, but when I remembered it a few months back I was taken aback by the spiritually metaphorical meaning of that

Avant,
Since RAME are just my initials, I doubt there would be any meaning there, but you might try Rosalie. Interesting post.

Hmmm....
I've pondered this possibility before. I was supposed to have been named after my mother, but she was so cracked-out on drugs in the hospital she just named me the first thing that came to her min...lol....(Angela). I'm not quite sure how to feel about that.

Avant...
Baby name books...I have some...they give the name, origin, and meaning. My name is Samantha...I can't remember what it means...BUT, we very carefully chose our childrens names, and included the meanings into our decisions...
