are you referring to a parent/child relationship?

What if

the other person we cannot control withdraws from us?

i've heard others say that about him. it's easy to speak of truth; it's another thing to live it. and you're right. a person who is unconditionally loving doesn't care what you do. the moment is all there is.

I met Jerry Jampolski (course in miracles ) a couple times. He was a very special man. I never read teh whole book or got taht deeply into his path, but i always felt i didn't really need to because he was a man who enbodied his truth and if you had "seen" it you had experienced it, and it stayed with me. You would have recognized "it"

..and when we do that simple little, not so simple act, we see clearly that it is prescious little taht we have any control over at all, for all our worry and our strife, waht do we really control? Our choices

What a great post...
and so true. I've been working hard lately on "turning loose the reigns" and I do find it brings me some peace of mind. I'm still having to remind myself constantly that control is an illusion, but I'm getting there...day by day.  Thanks for sharing.

It has nothing to do with who we see, and everything to do with how we see.

so true...

this post has a very "Course In Miracles" feel to it.

"Choose one moment and withdraw the need to control, and it will appear as an insane wish that can never be fulfilled."

Ahh, I choose many moments now and withdraw, and in the peace, I control my sanity.

Your blog helps.
