My teachers didn't teach anything about this.
I think the reason was that it was a personal decision what to do about such things. It is not as if a psychic's evidence is admissable in court, so the assertion that someone did something is not going to be evidence enough to proceed legally. So I surmise, at any rate. On the other hand, a word to someone who might be able to follow up in other ways might be appropriate.
Psychics have traditionally been ignored, vilified, even blamed for the very deeds they have exposed. This does not encourage a clairvoyant to come forward with such information.
There is also the matter of neutrality, which my teachers did have quite a lot to say about.

Very interesting Ciel
What do they teach you about (for example) what to do if you see something such as that the man had killed someone? Obviously you can't blurt it out since you could get hurt...For me it would be hard to keep sitting next to the person though. The one time I did feel that the man next to me had killed someone I turned tail as fast as I could! (Guess I have the flight instinct down.) I told that story in my blog a while back (for those who wonder about that part.)
