Skating!
I learned to rollerskate the same way...wore a skate key on a string around my neck on those endless summer days as a kid. Can remember tightening the skates till they sunk into the sides of my running shoes. My husband (who had never skated..ice or roller)and I bought rollerblades a couple of years ago but he spent more time sprawled on the pavement than gliding on top of it. Your blog has inspired me to go and dig out the blades...hopefully take a spin tonight!
