- Go to How Much Is Networking Worth?
Networking is a "being in business" cost - an expense that might or might not generate an income. Look at the people you will be networking with - are any of them potential clients for you? If they are, then great. If not, then are they going to help you reach people who will be your potential clients? If not, then will they help you reduce other expenses that you have? 80% of networking opportunities will not help you get income or reduce your costs; and about half the others will at best break even.

It sounds expensive.
If you go at least twice, you should be able to determine by the business people that are there and the discussion, whether it will be worth your while. It will take a while though for it to yield any returns - if you decide to join.

It depends on how effective the group is. Good luck anyway.

The cost wouldn't bother me
But that 7AM sharp would be a killer!
But seriously, they say nothing beats networking with the right people. Everyone knows the old saying: "...its not what you know, but who you know.."!
