My pleasure, glenn!
Good luck with your efforts, buddy. Just keep the faith that you can get through this, one way or another.

Writeroflight,

I do take your concerns as sincere and thank you! The business model is sound but, we are having some difficulties that must be addressed! Extending and obtaining credit is crucial to our long term survival! I am not blaming anything for the tough times except the tough times! Money is cheap right now! In many ways too cheap (but that is for another day)!

And as I stated in the Post, my toils are minor compared to the violent and chaotic Planet we live on!

Sorry your business is struggling, glenn!
But if a $60 to $70 billion reduction in the federal deficit is a "little bit" to you, you must be accustomed to having massive amounts of cash around! If not, then maybe you need to get a better perspective of finances.

Razzing aside, I don't want to sound callous, but although I don't know your particular circumstances you make it sound like you're blaming everybody else - especially the Bush administration - for your business's problems.

May I offer a suggestion? Have you looked at your business model top to bottom to see if there is anything that you can do differently to turn it around? I mean, really study it in detail, unflinchingly, with the desire to find exactly what is wrong and why, even if it points out something you are doing that is contributing to the problems (perhaps being too generous with credit?). Maybe you need to try a different field, or even a different part of the country.

I know what I'm talking about. Years ago I managed a struggling business for several years, and had to do this constantly. At first, I was in the habit of blaming the economy, the competition, customers not paying their bills, anything but what we were doing ourselves. When I finally confronted our internal problems, ranging from obsolete policies and products to hopelessly naive generosity with credit to lousy performance by some employees to serious problems with my own approach to the business, I had to make some very painful decisions, but the those decisions helped turn the business around.

Hang in there, glenn, and do what you must to survive. You're obviously very passionate and energetic, put those gifts to work for you so they can lead you out of your difficulties.
