that's so true. until we want it bad enough, we try to dictate how it will appear.

Stillness
is the one pure state. Too often people are on transmit only. I enjoy stillness the most when surrounded by noise pollution; that is my place, the quiet room inside my soul. You expressed it so well. Thanks

Do you want it bad enough?

I believe that usually, we have to want that channel to open pretty badly.  And.. it seems we can't try to stack the deck in some way so as to try to get God to endorse our desired answer.  We need to want to accept whatever answer comes down... more than we want to dictate the answer.

Great post....I often sit on my deck in absolute stillness, in the moonlight, and look out at the lake and feel His presence so strongly it is almost palpable....very comforting and soothing.  I love those times and often go out there when I can't sleep, like I am called.

that's the truth. it's sad that we are so egocentric with regard to others.

it is very natural. we have to be taught to be afraid of it, it is so natural.

"Tuning into the divine is a process of tuning out the world, which constantly distracts and beckons with promises of reward and threats of punishment. The beginning of the journey with the Father is the end of our relentless search for what can never be found in the physical plane of existence."

Great truths here my friend, thank you, always thanks for your posts.

Absolutely. I've written about this many times.

I think there are two instances posted on my website. One of the things I noted is that most religions will tell one that one can have an experience with God through prayer, but they will not admit that other people outside their religion can.
