Oh, the tragic irony!
This is actually the final week of my three month "Ask Madame P.O." test run, gals/guys. It was never really meant to be a "permanent fixture". Just here to, sort of, gauge a different audience's reactions. (Although, I do hope to remain at Blog It in some form.)

P.S. Of course, there still is the archive of all the past columns. If you haven't seen them before, they're new to you.

This mature person,
I did not say older, really got a kick out of your stuff. Keep it going. It's something different and I need all the humor I can get these days. Of course maybe part of it's because some say I still have the mind of a twelve year old who likes hot older women.

We're writers, we're supposed to understand humor.
I'm pretty sure you wouldn't think about it seriously, or would you? Gotcha!

lol beleive me if he doesn't want to hear it we certinaly do
I remeber reading a story about this guy's obesssion with the babysitter, he was the of the children father. I can't remeber who wrote it but just bits and pieces about his life and what lead up to his decision of almost rapeing the babysitter, it was a very powerful piece. ~Silly

Wow! No "Oh my God! I can't believe you said to euthanize an old person!"
comments. That's funny.

You know, while I'm more numerically popular elsewhere, the reaction I've received here is slightly more satisfying. Since, I'm not exactly "preaching to the choir".

Most of my "real world" readers are, like, twelve years old (they actually consider me a "hot older woman"). Therefore, it's nice to be appreciated (at least, quasi) by a more mature audience.

At any rate, thank you to everyone!

P.S. Not quite, Layla.

SillySoul, I have long noticed...
the curious (yet disturbing) similarities between very, very old people and very, very young children. I even wanted to write a piece about it. However, my editor told me that if it were ever to be published... he'd be "run out of town on a rail" and I'd be "burned at the stake". Literally.

He did admit the column was pretty funny, though.

QuirkyAlone...
But you were actually okay with the second one?

With that in mind... I've decided to finally move this blog into the humor section, seeing as it is, in fact, a humor blog. (What a novel concept!) This should avoid any confusion in the future.

Well I certainly hope you were being sarcastic with that first one.  It's kind of hard to tell, or maybe I'm just really, really dumb???

It's rather ironic how
we push time to get to a certain point to enjoy life, and when we finally do, were to old to enjoy it. Ah l'a mour. ~Silly

That's certainly reassuring!
By the way, on an unrelated note... would you like to adopt me?

Why thank you, mmm-w!
My mom told me the same thing (about it being one of her favorites). Hopefully, that's where the similarities end between you two (for your sake).

Just joking, mother! (I know she reads my comments to make sure I'm not badmouthing her.)

Thank you, Joe Love.
I have no clue how good a writer I am. However, my policy is, if you can begin a humor column with the line, "My elderly father recently suffered a bad fall in his bathtub, which will require him to spend his remaining years in a care facility." ... you must be doing something right!

Just here for my daily visit of the Madame
