Yes you are.
Dear Yafanna.. those thoughts of being nothing came to me during my most depressed time when I was still in the Philippines, around 1978, in my home state of DAVAO CITY.
Let me have your shoulder to cry on.) ) That was the time my sweetheart has to chose if she goes to USA, she will not come back. If I marry her, she will stay. I was not gainfully employed at that time so I told her to go to USA and forget about me. I almost died of loneliness. I think I cried for a week. I stood up again and find a job in Manila. I recovered. I married in 1983. Around year 1999, I was already in Australia, my mother came here for a visit and OMG, my girldfriend who went to USA has been writing me at least twice a year for about four years, my mother just placed them in a big envelop to be sent to me. My mother forgot about those letters about 14 of them and lost the big envelop. I almost screamed at my mum but I was already married and I just went to the backyard and sat there for an hour. I did not take action from that time on. I have chosen a married life and a quiet one and I am not a person who will stir up old flames.
Those were the depressing days. Now we have the techonology of the computer and in one instant you can open the 'PANDORA's BOX, (your computer) and reach out to the world..
my eyes are sticky now and I have to sleep cuz I have work tomorrow.. thanks for reading my heartache.......

Hi yafanna...
I am happy to meet you. You and I are almost the same age. I'm 51. I see you live in Ohio. I like listening to frogs, camping in the woods and cooking over a fire, too. There are so many things I enjoy in life.
Babies are my favorite. Any kind of babies.
My children are all grown and doing well, on their own without "Mommy." It is so cute, my son e-mailed me the other day and the subject of the E-mail was, For my Mommy." He sent pics of his children, my grandchildren. He's 21 and called me Mommy. Cute, huh?
I very much like your poetry. You do a swell job. Especially, this last one you posted. Keep in touch. Your new friend, jacenta.
