And that your family and friends are too. I thought the notices for missing people were especially poignant - reminded me of the 'lost people' in Argentina in the '70s and, of course, 9/11. I usually take the Piccadilly Line from King's Cross but., mercifully, worked from home on Thursday. Please do take care.

I was just checking in to see "the latest" from you. I am glad to see you and your loved ones areaccounted for... Take care of yourself! (At some point in the future...I am curious how you are dealing with this with your kids. On 9/11/2001 my kids were three and an infant, so it was not hard to get through it. I am afraid I will have to address terrorism eventually though.

Symph,
Stopped by to check on you. I'm glad to hear everyone is OK. What a mess you have over there. I'm sure there will be plenty of cleanup, and everything will be jammed up, but if everyone close to you is OK, that won't be too bad. Looking at the mess will be a shock.
Now that you know everyone close to you has weathered it out, you should be able to get some sleep. I know that won't be easy, but even a few hours will help. Everything looks so much worse when you're tired.

Love and Prayers to you, girl!
Like I said earlier, don't focus on the fear...it makes you less able to make sound decisions and wise choices. Other attacks could come in your area. You have to be clear-headed for your family's sake.
You know I was put on stand-by today and will be leaving town soon and who knows when I'll return but my thoughts are with you...you've had soooo very much tragedy in your life these past few years, but dig your way out of it and don't let it cover you up.
Keep smiling. Keep moving forward. Stay focused on positive stuff in the days ahead. God is love. He cares about you and your family. He didn't send all this shit to teach you anything. It's the evil men of this world. It's the careless drivers. It's people who give up and don't think they can go on.
Don't you give up. Keep fighting back. Become stronger. I love you. And I wish I could be here for you in the days ahead, but I have to go fight my own kind of war...one with the forces of nature. You know I'll stay in touch as much as possible.

Wish I were there to give you a big Texas hug. You guys be safe and be cautious. These terrorists may be planning other attacks. Try not to be engulfed by fear! It dulls your survivor instincts and renders you less able to care for yourself and family.

My mum has been frantically phoning him but all phones are down because its too busy. (we do not think he would have been on trains or buses)
My aunt is still trying to contact friends.
I’m sitting here wondering when we will know because no names of those life’s taken away have been given up yet.
The police still cannot confirm how many have died in the bus blast.

Unclear if it’s a suicide bombers that caused blasts because their wasn’t any warning.

These people still have to be in the UK unless they were killed in the bombings. Symph,
Good to see that you haven't got into any of this mess yet. Stay home and take care of people around you for now. Let things settle. Stay away from areas of large numbers of people. I suppose with your Irish terries you have a pretty good idea what to do. It's horrible that the British are always caught in the middle of this sort of thing. Take care, and keep your eyes open at all times. Once the station thing is over with perhaps trouble will move elsewhere.
Take care....

As long as hate and slaughter feed the infinite lust
for greed and power, it will never end.
Only spread like the deadliest cancer.

Symphony, very, very interesting...now it makes me think if a justification
to continue the war was needed and planted.

Thats sad.
I heard this news on here. All it said was terrorist attacks. So I scrambled to Cnn to see what this was about. I hate to see this. Some of the terror groups will stop at nothing. I just hope England doesnt start manipulating its people and keep you locked in terror. If they do, the terrorists won today. My prayers are with you all too.
