Writeroflight,
You have no clue about the Constitution!

"When the Constitution is threatened, the line starts at my door!"
So, Glenn, what say you about the Kelo ruling and its assault on Fifth Amendment protections of private property? Seems to me the threat to the Constitution is coming from the liberals on the Supreme Court, and indirectly from the Congressional liberals who want more of them on the bench, than from the White House.

There is a country I would rather live in . . .
it is called the United States of America, and, unlike our nation, it is truly ruled by the Constitution, and Congressmen truly run and serve to actually, well,
serve, rather than enriching themselves, (See my post on Representative Cunningham, a modern day thief and, figuratively, a bastard).

Fwmystic,
True and if most Americans would take you up on that invitation also? They would storm Washington, DC and take America away from these "Criminals in Power"! When the Constitution is threatened, the line starts at my door!

Glenn, as much as I agree with you most of the time ...
read the Declaration of Independence. Regardless of how you feel about our political system now, you have to admit it is a powerfully written document.

Hemlocker,
The truth is most often less appealing than a lie! Especially if it attacks your understanding of reality. Although truth hurts it is not a source of despondence, it is uplifting! We need less Preaching and more Truth my friend!

Wow, glennb,
Isn't oil black? I know, not a good joke. I agree with nearly everything you've been saying, but swimming so deeply in the sea of despond could be fatal in the end. Perhaps you could act as more of a preacher, and try to give the fallen some directions as to how they-we can live in a more worthwhile way, and improve our standing in the world. Hemlocker
