almost a weird coincidence - that the people who make fun of me don't know how to swim, which I am really good at. Spooky, isn't it?

Frankly there are many people who
have a driver's license and still have no clue how to drive. And there are those who drive even though they have no license. It's just a piece of paper....

After going to NYC over the holidays, I can see why you don't know how to drive. In a city like that there is no real reason to need to worry about it.
It is out of the ordinary but as long as nobody is stopping you from learning there is nothing wrong with it.

I know of 2
I live in the country, and I know of two women who are above 40 and do not know how to drive. Like your friends, I am amazed by this. Both of these ladies are married, so everything will be all right for them, provided they don't outlive their husbands.

Wow, that's quite unusual, but you're not alone. A neighbor down the
street from my dad has never driven before. He takes the bus everywhere. He's close to 50!
