avant,
Yep, it's true. Another thing I tell people to do (when I'm doing my clergy stuff) in order to seek answers or direction, ask God (whatever higher power) right before going to sleep, ask for the help to come to you in your dreams.

it's funny you said that. we can put that request into our subconscious, and it always shows us the answer. i think the trick is being open to the answer, in whatever form it assumes.

yes, that's what i believe. the more i react to others, the less i'm really paying attention.

avant,
I love that last line the most. Also, I always tell people it's okay to "go to bed angry" because our dreams actually help us solve problems and answer questions even if we don't remember the dream. It remains in our subconscious. Great post.

Great post...
U believe the more we know ourselves, the more we mature and grow and make good decisions. We become more forgiving of others as well.

Yes, quiet and reflection is really what living is all about. Great post again my friend.

This is a wise reflection. One does not need to believe in a conventional god to benefit from it. "Going into the silence" is a strong element in hatha yoga and eastern religions. I think transcendental meditation was one western adaptation. Thanks. Hemlocker
