Hello From Dr Bob
Just passing through on my reading rounds. I am about to take up formal Spanish classes at a university when I return this fall after a thrirty years hiatus. On my own I always try to learn as much of a language as I can when I have a moment in time to do so. I work in a multi cultural and multi ethnic environment so I have the ability to ask questions and make comments in Arabic, French , Russian , Tagalog , and Spanish. As I have learned small amounts of these languages , I have gained new friends along the way. There is always someone wanting to learn English and more tehn happy if not downright complimeneted to share with you some of their native language. As I head to university , I will be getting formal training in Spanish for the first time. It will beineteresting to see how much of the Spanish I learned on my own will assist or detract from my journey. Have a good weekend.

Your post reached me on a spiritual level. I think God sends us angels when we need them. Here you are now, wanting to learn the language of Romania. Your thirst for knowledge, and I think that is beautiful. I also think the fact that smiles and tenderness do not require language. How sweet of the little lady to communicate with you using no words. As for the language I wish to learn...I would love to be fluent in Hebrew.
P.S. Thank you for visiting my blog - have a blessed 4th, yourself!
