We supposedly still have a Commodore Amiga 500...
hidden somewhere deep in the darkest recesses of the house. Possibly resting snugly between the Polaroid Instamatic and the Colleco-vision.

It's a let down to have to wait for an appointment
and read 10 year old news while I'm at it. I gotta admit that sometimes those old magazines do have interesting stuff I managed to miss when they happened.

LOL Oh my, I call this the tameing of two ethical questions
Which one will bite back and which one will just sit there and takeing it. To puzzle or not to puzzle? To take flowers from a private property because it's compesation for my own personal hurt and loss. Hmm good ones. ~Luv

Those obsessed with high rankings
should just name their blog "What Every Blogger Must Know!" or mention nine hundred other members in every single post. But, hopefully, most people aspire to more "noble pursuits". Especially considering, with so many members sharing the "wealth", nobody's making any (significant) money.

I must confess I am guilty of (some) self-promotion in the other place where my column is currently being tested. However, here I've tried to pretty much keep it "pure". Since, I'm doubtful how much overlap there is between Blog It's membership and my "target audience", anyway.

Still glad I haven't received any "Hey! You Suck!" comments, though. Yet.

madame~
i, like you, could care less about rankings.... there are some incredibly talented people on here and they are that with or without a lot of readers, comments, or high rankings...

Talion~
well said..... :)

Why thank you, Talion!
I like to think of this as less a "gimmick", than simply an attempt to offer something a little different. Although, there is a more substantive reason for this format as well.

Madame_P.O.
I've frequently noticed your posts, but never bothered to click. I must admit, I was put off by the advice column gimmick. I finally clicked for the first time today expecting to confirm everything I've assumed about this blog, but only managed to confirm something else: I miss out on some good stuff when my head is stuck up my ass. You've just earned a new faithful reader.

See, now that's what's known as...
a loaded comment, Joe Love.

There are, in fact, about a BILLION reasons I could never, ever reach such a lofty perch here. Which I would rather not elaborate on. If for no other reason than not wanting to, like, "bore you to death".

I don't pay much attention to the rankings anyways... and certainly wouldn't put much stock in them (as barometers of writing ability).

However, I have noticed that one of my very favorite people is "Top Ten". And, few things would please me more than her continuing to rise. Cause she definitely deserves it.

At any rate, thank you VERY much for the wonderful compliment!

You are soooooo damn funny!
Madame, it won't surprise me one bit when you're column nabs the Number 1 slot around this place. You're humor is totally "on point"! Reading it is a delightful way to begin the morning!

nah... besides i am one of those die-hard, trusting individuals... nothing bad would ever happen to me. i would never get caught, or hurt..... don't let others feed you nonsense about dire consequences. going on sharing your wisdom with the world! it needs you

You are just so sweet, mmm-w!
Thank you so much for your continued support! However, I wouldn't necessarily recommend following my advice too closely. I've been told that could lead to "dire consequences"... plus, quite possibly, "charges being filed".

thank God....

so many of these issues seem to parralel my daily struggles and i just so grateful for the opportunity to heed your well written advice....

(i so love your mind, by the way.... i read your column to everyone and basically the new rule of thumb is "if she hasn't read the column to you, you aren't cool." )
