Czesc, David...

Would you mind if I add you to my instant messenger on msn?  I understand if you'd rather not, but let me know.  Paul is doing very well and is very happy here.  His English is much better than my terrible Polish!!...

Sweet Publady...

I believe Paul left Bosnia as a young man.  He hasn't been back for years and has no desire to do so.  It breaks my heart to know that he was forced to leave his family behind.

I too, would love to see Romania.  I met a lady from there once...Unfortunately, that's one of many languages I don't yet speak, so I was unable to converse with her.  I do know, however, that she also had no family here...and that too, breaks my heart.  I have no idea what became of her because I have never seen her again.

Lovelylady
Paul was indeed fortunate to leave Bosnia. I remember flying over the Alps and looking down on the tiny villages there. I wondered what all the fuss could possibly be about. Religion, years of pent up anger. When Sarajevo, the home of the Olympics just a few years earlier, became a grave yard, it was too hard breaking to imagine. One place I would to see is Romania, they say it is beautiful. All those little countries that sit in the mid-west of Europe. Albania is another. They just became a free people within the last 10 years.

This was a very touching post. You're very a compassionate person. Strangely, I just posted something last night along these lines...about how cruel people can be toward one another.
