I didn't laugh at you. There's nothing funny about being afraid of something because of bad memories. I think that's pretty "normal" actually.

lovelylady...Our tiny tourist town is a busy noisy place on July 4 weekend. I'm always glad when it gets back to its usual peace and quiet.

Although many do, not everyone gets drunk for the 4th of July. But I don't like to be in huge crowds. Several years I've watched TV fireworks rather than getting out and seeing them live. I'm not laughing!
