No.. Bush it too smart.. But it just didn't go his way!!

I don't think bush is stupid.. He is too smart to be mentally unstable.. Ya know how every one was fooled by making tall claims that Saddam had checmical/biological weapons? The only biological weapons he had was his soldiers and only chemical weapons were his RPGs.

Bush claimed that people would welcome US and Allied forces with open arms... However, we see every day on TV that civilians of all ages are dancing, singing and rejoicing overlooking a detroyed US Armoured Personell Carrier (APC) or a Humvee.. They really hate americans and think of them as occupiers.. Rightly so, as President Bush has awarded billions of dollars worth of contracts to U.S. companies including most to Vice-President Cheney's Halliburton. Even US's European allies are cying foul over shady contract awarding to U.S. companies...

So what is the lesson learnt? U.S. has been successfully able to decrease its unemployment rate to lowest in decades, economy is flourishing and so on.... All at the expense of looting and plundering of a country rich in natural resources, but poor in governance... Law of the Jungle... Might is Right!!! Uncle SAM likes something, he takes it...

Writeroflight,

Invading and occupying a sovereign country is a crime! There are enough lies left in the mouth of George Bush to suspend his removal one day at a time! We may "have" to storm the "White House" to get his crazy ass!

I did not know Bill Clinton was still President? You keep bringing up his name! Why?

Half-Life,
The time to storm the White House will not be a controlled event! So I say let us work to get voices in place to prosecute the criminals in DC! No "corporate media" over the weekend!

OMG
I cannot believe that it has taken this long for the conservative right wingers to wake up to the fact that the president is out of his fucking mind. He has deceived the American public...something the rest of us "lefty liberal bleeding hearts" and the people in the middle already knew. I am sick to my stomach that we have not stormed the steps of the Whitehouse demanding "NO MORE WAR!". Oh My God, what will it take...another 1700 lives, then another 1700 before we have had enough.

Since people are counting mentions of Sept 11 in the speech . . .

. . . I counted refutations, or any hint of any attempt at a refutation, in this posting of anything Bush said in the speech. Zero. Nothing. Not even a try to prove anything he said wrong, not a scrap of evidence. Only the usual I-hate-Bush ravings. You want to call something a lie? Then c'mon, Glenn, back it up with some hard evidence.

"The people around him are not in control of him nor his doctrine."
Three cheers for that!!! Well put, my man! After eight years of Clinton, we have a President who thinks for himself and doesn't bow at the altar of what everyone thinks of him! And as far as mental instability goes, even a liberal like David Gergen noted how logical the speech was. When his absolutely calm and well-reasoned presentation is contrasted with your ranting and raving, where then can we say the instability lies?

Glennb, OK one more -- time this one with three part harmony:
Saddam knew of, supported, probably funded, advised, gave his consent, protected and hid Islamic terrorists, offered them medical treatment, offered anthrax to Atta at the embassy in Checkoslovakia.  All without leavinghis fingerprints. Everyone in the world knows this.

Rame,

I wrote it a few Post back! They needed an excuse to inflate the price of oil! A twist of irony, strangely Saddam Hussein was always complaining that Arabs were sellimg oil too cheaply! But they wouldn't dare raise the price without the wrath the consumers!

What if George and the so called "moderate" Arabs (the ones controling the oil) and even "bin Laden" himself are in on the scam? Let us sacrifice Iraq for the price of oil!

MedusaNextDoor,
George Bush is mentally unstable! It is the American people who are the crazy foxes! They think they are getting something for nothing! Oil, security, WMD, whatever! They will have to pay for the folly of ole mad "W"!

Glennb,
I think old George is in his right mind. He is lining his pockets and those of his cronies and campaign contributers as a result of this war. Look at all the defense contractors who are making a killing off of it. Some how, some way, George is getting his share of that, too. Look at the price of gas. Within days of his becoming president the first time, gas prices started going up and haven't stopped yet. Now, the oil barren in the Oval office has to be making money off of that. After the election fiasco in Florida, George needed for the American people to have a common enemy. It seems likely to me, after reading some new findings and hearing about some of them on the news, that 911 was allowed to happen. George could get up there in front of the country and tell us how he/America was going to go after the terrorists, and especially Bin Laden, until every last one of them was found and brought to justice. Suddenly, Saddam was once again our enemy, and it was intimated that Saddam and Bin Laden were in cahoots. We couldn't find Bin Laden, so we'll make war on Iraq. After all the Americans were hot for justice. George would look like a hero, continue lining his pockets, and probably win the next election hands down. No, I don't think he is out of his mind. I think he know exactly what he is doing.

Glennb..Bush is crazy like a fox. He got a 2nd term by convincing voters
that Iraq was linked to 911. It's so sad that the public continues to eat up his crap. Bush is brilliant in that respect. As John Kerry said during the election...."I can't believe I'm losing to this idiot." Well, believe it.
