Hi Steve:
I saw your comment about web design on my blog when I got back yesterday. I replied there, but will paste my answer here as well:
I took an online HTML course at
http://www.htmlgoodies.com that really helped me jump into web design.
I use Notebook which comes with any Windows program (in the Accessories menu when you click Start then All Programs) to create all my web pages.
I then use Transfer to move them to my server (Winsave.com) with whom I've been very happy these last 6 + years.
If you need more information on any of these programs, just let me know.
Doing it this way initially costs me about $200.00 (set up fees + 1 year of hosting/domain name) then about $100/year after that (again for a year in advance of hosting).
